In baptism, we celebrate the gift of God’s grace that is offered to us before we ever ask for it. Through water and the Spirit, we are welcomed into Christ’s holy Church and marked as beloved children of God.

Whether for an infant, child, or adult, baptism is a sacred covenant. As a United Methodist congregation, we promise to surround those baptized with prayer, encouragement, and love as they grow in faith and walk in the way of Christ.

The funeral is an opportunity for the bereaved to experience comfort and closure by giving thanks for their life, bidding farewell, and learning how the deceased affected the lives of others.  It is also an opportunity to reflect on what lessons may be learned from the person’s life experience.
